"Broken"

I recently got inspired by a scene out of Star Wars The Force Awakens. In the scene there is a dramatic shot of the leftovers from broken Darth Vader helmet. With this inspiration I decided to create these additional renders showing a broken helmet. In the process of creating this I tested and learned a new few things. The power of SSS (subsurface scattering) materials and the new Volume Builder system in Cinema 4D.
